Avant-garde designs, high-tech products, sophisticated decoration and display and attractive signage, are turning the city center into the most interesting shopping destination in Beirut and the Middle East. Popular malls are for example the ABC Mall, Beirut Mall, ABC Beauté, Miss ABC, City Mall (this mall includes more than 100 shops, many restaurants and movie theaters), and Dunes Center.
There are several shopping streets in Beirut and around the city:
Downtown Beirut: here you find many designer stores;
Hamra Street: in this aerea you find the less expensive shops;
Mar-Elias Street, in the south of Beirut;
Rue Verdun, this shopping street contains some shopping malls and department stores. |
